Day 01 Colombo - Bentota
Arrival, meet and greet at the airport and transfer to
Bentota. Check in at the hotel in Bentota. Evening take a
picturesque boat trip on the ‘Madhu Ganga’ river. Overnight
stay at hotel in Bentota.
River Safari in Madhu Ganga: The primitive life style
of the inhabitant of the islands of the Madhu River is only
a boat ride away. The boat ride takes us through the thick
mangroves and abundant the bird life, to reveal the
primitive style of fishing and prawn trapping still
practiced by the inhabitants of the islands.
Day 02: Bentota - Kandy
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to hotel in Kandy and check
in at the hotel. Visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens.
In the late afternoon proceed for a city tour of Kandy - the
last capital of the Sri Lankan kings. The name Kandy
conjures visions of a storied past, splendour, legend,
folklore, mystery and traditions lovingly kept alive for
countless years. Visit a gem museum and a lapidary. Later
visit the Scared Temple of the Tooth Relic and thereafter
witness a cultural show in Kandy.
Peradeniya: Peradeniya Botanical Gardens was first
built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was
expanded by the British. it is 147 acres in extent and
provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers.

Day 3: Kandy - Colombo
Early breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast proceed to
Colombo, enroute Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela, which is a
home to about 60 Elephants found abandoned or orphaned in
the wild. Also, accompany the Elephants to a river close by
to see them having their daily baths. Check-in at your hotel
in Colombo.
In the afternoon do a city tour of Colombo, observing the
old Parliament, the residential areas and the BMICH
(Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall), A
Hindu Kovil, a Buddhist Temple, Observing the Galle Face
Green and visit Fort Bazaar. Shopping is never an end in
Colombo - visit House of Fashions, Majestic City shopping
complex, ODEL Unlimited Dress Boutique, Noritake Ceramic
Showroom, Barefoot Gallery and Lakmedura Handicraft Centre.
Overnight stay at your hotel in Colombo.
