Char Dham Yatra (meaning “journey to the four sacred abodes”) is one of the most revered pilgrimages in Hinduism, encompassing four holy sites nestled in the majestic Himalayas—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. These destinations are deeply associated with divine origins, representing the sacred rivers Yamuna and Ganga, and the abodes of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. Undertaken to attain spiritual purification and liberation (moksha), the yatra is not just a physical journey but a path of devotion, faith, and inner transformation, drawing millions of pilgrims each year.
