    • Dubai Aquarium Tunnel & Underwater Zoo: The 10-million liter Dubai Aquarium tank, located on the Ground Level of The Dubai Mall, is the largest suspended aquarium in the world.       The average time to visit the Aquarium Tunnel is approximately 15 to 30 minutes. Underwater Zoo located on Level 2 takes approximately 45 mins – 1.5 hours. This time could increase should you wish to stay and watch presentations/shows where you can take as many photos as you want.

    • Tour Operator should collect the copy of Exit Stamp Page from each guests´ passport and send it across to us within 14 days after the departure of the guests.
    • In order to proceed with the Visa Application, the Passport Copies/Photographs must be in JPG Format. Please send the attachments in the “.jpeg” format only.
    • Visas are applied subject to the approval of the Internal Visa and Documentation Department. Visas are issued under the sole discretion of the Immigration Department.

    IMPORTANT Note on Tourism Dirham:

    • Tourism Dirham Fee will be in effect from 31st March 2014 and the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has sent a clarified version which also explains the implementation part of it in detail. This will only apply for the Hotels and Apartments in the Emirate of Dubai. It is now confirmed that the Tourism Dirham Fee will be collected by the respective Hotel or Apartment directly from the guest at Check-in or Check out. The minimal charge will vary between 7 to 20 Dirhams per room, per night, dependant on the hotel’s category and rating.

  • From February 1, 2021, All passengers arriving in Dubai from any point of origin (GCC countries included) must hold a negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 72 hours before departure.
  • You must get your certificate from one of the labs listed in the designated laboratories document by ICMR to be accepted on the flight.
  • The Negative PCR COVID-19 certificate must be printed in English or Arabic. No handwritten, SMS or digital certificates will be accepted.
  • Passengers arriving in Dubai from INDIA will be required to take another COVID‑19 PCR test on arrival at Dubai International airport.
  • You must also download the COVID19 – DXB Smart App.
  • Children under the age of 12 and passengers with a severe or moderate disability are exempt from the PCR test.
  • Ensure you have medical travel insurance with international coverage that covers COVID-19 before traveling.
  • You will need to sign a declaration to bear all costs of quarantine and treatment and complete a Health Declaration Form before departure confirming you are not displaying COVID-19 symptoms.

  • Dubai is known for warm and sunny weather throughout the year, due to its latitude. There are two distinct seasons – summer and winter. Dubai summers are milder than most nearby Gulf cities due to its coastal location.
  • The winter season is typically considered to begin in October and last until April – but temperatures remain pleasant and consistently suitable for a range of fun outdoor activities.
  • Indian passport holders need a Visitor visa to enter Dubai.
  • Nationals of India with a normal passport valid for a minimum of 6 months from the arrival date with a visa issued by the USA which is valid for a minimum of 6 months can obtain a visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 14 days. They can apply to extend their stay for an additional 14 days.
  • Passengers with a normal passport and a confirmation that a visa has been approved before departure can obtain a visa on arrival for a maximum stay of 96 hours, 30 days or 90 days. Passengers must have a passport valid for a minimum of 6 months from the arrival date. The visa approved before departure must be deposited by the sponsor at the Immigration Authorities.
  • Each visa application will be considered on its own merits.

The currency in Dubai is the Dirham, which is shortened to AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham).

  • From 18 November 2018, eligible tourists in the UAE will be able to request refunds on the Value Added Tax (VAT) incurred on their purchases while there are in the UAE. Only tax invoices issued from 18 November 2018 will qualify eligible tourists to reclaim taxes on their purchases.
  • Tourists will receive their refunds through a special device placed at the departure port – airport, seaport, or border port – by submitting the tax invoices of your purchases from the outlets registered in the Scheme, along with copies of your passport and credit card.
  • Once the documents are submitted, you can either recover the VAT in cash in UAE dirhams, or have it transferred to your credit card.
  • For you to claim VAT refund on purchases you made in the UAE, you must fulfill certain conditions:
    • Goods must be purchased from a retailer who is participating in the ‘Tax Refund for Tourists Scheme’.
    • Goods are not excluded from the Refund Scheme of the Federal Tax Authority.
    • You must have the explicit intention to leave the UAE in 90 days from the date of supply, along with the purchased supplies.
    • You must export the purchased goods out of the UAE within three months from the date of supply.
    • The process of purchase and export of goods must be carried out according to the requirements and procedures determined by Federal Tax Authority.

While most restaurants will note at the bottom of the menu that taxes and service charge have already been included in the bill, it is still common among most diners in Dubai to tip the service staff. A figure between 10 and 15 per cent is customary, but this is dependent on the quality of service.

Electricity supply is 220/240 volts at 50 cycles. Plug points are the same as in the UK. To operate US-made appliances and equipment, you’ll need a transformer to convert the 220V to 110V and an adaptor for the plugs.
